*Not Medical Advice* Anxiety is a bitch. No two ways around it. It is like quicksand and when you struggle harder, it pulls you in deeper. A lot of our friends and family do not understand that "feel better" is not a way to help people with anxiety to feel better. It takes daily effort, just like our physical fitness, to improve our mental health, including anxiety. Here is some of my story and some methods that have helped me to overcome this battle.

Mental health is often associated with struggle. The connotation that comes with mental health is that it correlates with anxiety, stress, and even suicide. Mental health is very important and has to be trained on a daily basis, even on our best days. The connection between mental health and negativity needs to be eliminated as we focus on the positive aspects of mentality. We can train our body when we feel great, why not train your mind when things are going well? Gratitude and recognition of the things that make you happy can change your life and perspective on mental health.
