The hot topic of at home workouts has become more and more popular in these times. The only issue is a lot of the programs and plans are based solely around cardio. This is because it is easy to sell a cardio style workout (I.E Insanity) because you will sweat a lot and be tired! Do NOT get me wrong, I think these are great workouts. However, to gain muscle or get "toned" you need to have muscle to tone. Here are some tips and hints to design a program for yourself or to choose the right exercises, tempo and tension in order to get results. P.S I always recommend that you purchase a band or light dumbbells if you plan to workout at home! Having progressions will help you see results in you physique and strength.
